It's been 5 years since Blair Kiddey began his new job as the host of the Breeze in Nelson. He asked me at a festival I was performing at (he was the stage MC) about writing a Nelson Christmas song. The Dream – new single released

The Dream is the second single from my upcoming 4th studio album. The lyrics were likely inspired by my late night train rides to and from gigs in the city. The trip was 2 hours each way and that’s where I learnt to play the harmonica. Ain’t No Flame – single + music video released

Ain’t No Flame is the first single off my 4th studio album. It’s a song that was inspired by the deadly fires in Nelson/Tasman in 2019. I have always worked alongside recording engineers on previous tracks, and this time I wanted to self-produce this in my own Recording Studio. It was recorded and mixed at Hummingbird Recording Studio Nelson, New Zealand.
